PRIVACY POLICY

WHAT TYPES OF INFORMATION WE COLLECT:

We receive, collect, and store any information you enter on our website or provide us in any other way. In addition, we collect the Internet Protocol (IP) address used to connect your computer to the Internet; e-mail address, computer, and connection information.

We may use software tools like Google Analytics to measure and collect session information, including page response times, length of visits to certain pages, page interaction information, and methods used to browse away from the page.

HOW WE COLLECT INFORMATION:

When you subscribe to our news, we store your name and email. When you fill out the Contact Us form, that information is used to respond to your inquiry and/or set up an account.

Our WIX website and Constant Contact accounts store your email for sending you product information. We store your account information on our ERP system separate from WIX and Constant Contact on our secure encrypted server.

WHY WE COLLECT PERSONAL INFORMATION:

We collect non-personal and Personal Information for the following purposes:

  1. To provide and operate the Services;

  2. To provide our Users with ongoing customer assistance and technical support;

  3. To be able to contact our Visitors and Users with general or personalized service-related notices and promotional messages;

  4. To create aggregated statistical data and other aggregated and/or inferred Non-personal Information, which we or our business partners may use to provide and improve our respective services;

  5. To comply with any applicable laws and regulations.

HOW WE STORE, USE, SHARE, AND DISCLOSE OUR SITE VISITORS’ PERSONAL INFORMATION:

Our company is hosted on the Wix.com platform. Wix.com provides us with an online platform that allows us to sell our products and services to you. Your data may be stored through Wix.com’s data storage, databases, and general Wix.com applications. They store your data on secure servers behind a firewall.

Our website is not e-commerce so we will never ask for or store your credit card or payment information on the WIX platform. If you pay for product by credit card, you may authorize our accounting department to store that information on your account in our secure, encrypted ERP system, separate from WIX.

HOW WE COMMUNICATE WITH OUR SITE VISITORS:

We may contact you to notify you regarding your account, to troubleshoot problems with your account, to resolve a dispute, to collect fees or monies owed, to poll your opinions through surveys or questionnaires, to send updates about our company, or as otherwise necessary to contact you to enforce our User Agreement, applicable national laws, and any agreement we may have with you. For these purposes, we may contact you via email, telephone, text messages, and postal mail.

An ”account” means that you have provided us your name and business contact information in order to purchase a product from us. If you have simply subscribed to our news, we only store your email.

HOW WE USE COOKIES AND OTHER TRACKING TOOLS:

Cookies are small pieces of data stored on a site visitor's browser.

Cookies are files you can delete. ... You probably do not want to block all cookies, because that would really limit the quality of your Internet experience. You can set your browser to ask your permission before accepting a cookie though, and only accept them from Web sites you trust.

Cookies collect information – online habits, previous visits, search history, etc. – and passes it on to the servers of the cookie owners. This information is then used for analyzing which pages and products are most interesting to our visitors. This data may help us advertise our products better and provide better, more personalized information.

Since Mineral Logic is not an e-commerce site where your experience would be enhanced by maintaining your settings, require a log-in, or payment information, previous purchases, or “other items you might like” these are non-issues on our website.

Wix uses cookies for important reasons, such as:

·       To provide a great experience for our visitors and customers.

·       To identify your registered members (users who registered to your site).

·       To monitor and analyze the performance, operation, and effectiveness of Wix's platform.

·       To ensure our platform is secure and safe to use.

We also use Google Analytics which does not provide us with IP address or personally identifiable information.
