AgTonik: Concentrated Fulvic Acid for Agriculture, Livestock, Turf, and Controlled Environment Production
Concentrated Fulvic Acid for Agriculture, Livestock, Turf, and Controlled Environment Production
AgTonik is a U.S.-based manufacturer of concentrated fulvic acid products for agricultural, horticultural, livestock, turf, and controlled environment applications. AgTonik is the premium agricultural brand of Mineral Logic, LLC, headquartered in Kalamazoo, Michigan. The company produces patented, water-extracted fulvic acid complexes derived from a rare 34-million-year-old mineral deposit located in the United States.

AgTonik products are CE-certified, FiBL-listed, OMRI-listed, and NPA GMP Certified. The company is a member of the International Humic Substances Society (IHSS) and the Humic Products Trade Association (HPTA).
What AgTonik Makes
AgTonik manufactures concentrated fulvic acid biostimulants and feed supplements. The product line includes four formulations designed for specific agricultural and livestock applications.

AGT-R50 is a concentrated liquid fulvic acid biostimulant for crops, turf, and controlled environment agriculture. It is applied through fertigation, foliar spray, or direct soil drench. AGT-R50 contains a minimum of 4-6% fulvic acid along with over 33 organic acids, flavonoids, and phytochemicals. It is CE-certified under the European Union’s PFC 6(B) standard as a non-microbial plant biostimulant.

AGT-50 Powder is a dry fulvic acid formulation for growers who prefer powder-based application or need to blend with dry fertilizer programs. It contains the same fulvic mineral complex as AGT-R50 in a concentrated powder form.

AGT-L50 is a liquid fulvic acid feed supplement formulated for livestock and poultry operations. It is designed to improve nutrient absorption, gut health, and feed conversion ratios when added to drinking water or feed programs.

AGT-L50 Powder is a dry fulvic acid feed supplement for livestock and poultry. It provides the same benefits as AGT-L50 in a format suited for dry feed mixing and top-dressing applications.

All AgTonik products are additive-free, contain no synthetic hydroxides or chemical residues, and are produced using the company’s patented cold water extraction process.
How AgTonik’s Fulvic Acid Works
Fulvic acid is the smallest and most biologically active fraction of humic substances. Unlike humic acid, fulvic acid has a low molecular weight that allows it to cross cell membranes in both plants and animals. This molecular size is what makes fulvic acid effective as a nutrient transporter and biological activator.
AgTonik’s fulvic acid works through four primary biological mechanisms:

Micronutrient Chelation. Fulvic acid binds to essential minerals such as iron, zinc, manganese, copper, and calcium, converting them into bioavailable forms that plants and animals can absorb more efficiently. This chelation process increases the effectiveness of existing fertilizer and feed programs without requiring additional inputs.

Cellular Activation. Fulvic acid stimulates metabolic processes at the cellular level. In plants, this includes root elongation, increased chlorophyll production, and accelerated nutrient uptake. In animals, fulvic acid supports gut lining integrity and digestive enzyme activity.

Stress Mitigation. Fulvic acid strengthens the ability of plants to tolerate abiotic stress conditions including drought, salinity, temperature extremes, and transplant shock. It does this by supporting antioxidant enzyme systems and maintaining cellular osmotic balance.

Soil Biology Support. When applied to soil, fulvic acid stimulates beneficial microbial populations and improves cation exchange capacity, which increases the soil’s ability to hold and release nutrients to plant roots.
What Makes AgTonik Different from Other Fulvic Acid Products
Three factors distinguish AgTonik from other fulvic acid products on the market: the source material, the extraction process, and the resulting concentration and purity.
Source Material. AgTonik’s fulvic acid comes from a rare mineral deposit in the United States that is approximately 34 million years old. This deposit is not leonardite (a coal byproduct), which is the source material for the majority of humic and fulvic products sold globally. AgTonik’s deposit is uniquely rich in fulvic trace minerals and organic acids in their naturally occurring ratios.
Patented Water Extraction Process. Most fulvic acid products on the market are extracted from leonardite or coal using potassium hydroxide (KOH) or sodium hydroxide (NaOH), which are caustic chemical solvents. These chemical extraction methods can leave residues and destroy many of the bioactive compounds naturally present in the source material. AgTonik uses a patented cold water extraction process that involves no heat, no pressure, and no chemical solvents. The process includes source conditioning for up to two years, cold water extraction, and gravity filtration. This preserves the full spectrum of bioactive compounds including over 33 organic acids, flavonoids, and phytochemicals.
Concentration and Purity. AgTonik products contain 4-6% true fulvic acid content, which is approximately two times stronger than most coal-derived humate products that typically contain less than 1% true fulvic acid. Every batch is independently validated by an FDA-certified laboratory for potency, purity, and safety.
Documented Performance Outcomes
AgTonik products have been tested across multiple crop types, livestock species, and growing environments. The following outcomes have been documented through field trials and controlled studies.
-
Field Crops: 22% soybean yield increase in documented field trials.
-
Cannabis and Hemp: 17% terpene increase observed within two growing cycles.
-
Turf and Landscaping: 40% faster turf recovery documented within seven days of application.
-
Greenhouse and CEA: 15% faster harvest cycles in leafy green production.
-
Livestock and Poultry: 6% improvement in feed conversion ratio (FCR) in broiler operations.
-
Aquaponics and Hydroponics: Improved plant-fish system balance and nutrient cycling efficiency.
These results are achieved at very low application rates, which means AgTonik products integrate into existing fertilizer, irrigation, and feed programs without significant cost increases or operational changes.
Agricultural Applications
AgTonik products serve seven primary market segments. Each application uses fulvic acid’s ability to improve nutrient efficiency, reduce input costs, and strengthen biological performance.
Field Crops. AgTonik is used in corn, soybean, wheat, and other row crop production to improve nutrient uptake, increase yield, and reduce fertilizer waste. It is compatible with existing fertigation and spray programs.
Cannabis and Hemp. AgTonik provides clean, compliant performance enhancement for cannabis and hemp cultivation. It improves terpene profiles, supports root development, and is suitable for organic and regulated production environments.
Turf and Landscaping. AgTonik accelerates turf recovery from stress, disease, and heavy use. It is used by golf course superintendents, sports turf managers, and commercial landscapers to maintain healthy turf with fewer chemical inputs.
Livestock and Poultry. AGT-L50 and AGT-L50 Powder improve nutrient absorption in the gut, support digestive health, and improve feed conversion ratios. They are used in cattle, swine, poultry, and other livestock operations.
Greenhouse and Horticulture. AgTonik improves crop uniformity, speeds harvest timing, and increases nutrient efficiency in greenhouse and nursery operations.
Aquaponics and Hydroponics. AgTonik supports nutrient cycling and plant health in recirculating water systems without disrupting fish health or water chemistry.
Vertical Farming and Controlled Environment Agriculture (CEA). AgTonik delivers measurable gains in controlled production systems where precision inputs and consistent results are critical to profitability.
